can i just say i love DC summers for riding- while it's pretty hot and humid i love it because the weather is pretty much the same every day all summer. i look at the forecast and see all those different little icons but whether it's Isolated Thunderstorms or Scattered Thunderstorms it always happens between like 3:30 and 5:30 in the afternoon. the icon and the chance of rain - it's like it's the forecast for what is likely to happen in those two hours only - it's crazy. it almost never rains any other way then late afternoon thunderstorms that come and go in no time.

Here in Portland, Monday through Friday it's 80 degrees and blue skies. On the weekends, it rains. Oh well.

We've had the best riding weather in Chicago for summers that I've seen in a while. Temperatures usually range in the 70s out here at the lakefront, although when it does get into the 80s, it's still nice for me, since I do my rides mostly when the moon is out! ;) But mainly, yes... we've had an awesome summer, and I won't have any complaints at the end of this riding season, except that it's ended!

The high here on Saturday was 78. Couldn't believe it, but this summer has been exceptionally mild if a little wet. When it has rained, it has absolutely poured. But the rains are usually isolated stuff. Down it comes then it clears up in a few hours. In all, not bad.

Yesterday's weather was 95 F, heat index 102, humidity 93%. I've been getting up early to beat the heat and humidity. Ugh, I hate early mornings. Gotta drink 2 sugar free redbulls to get going.

Usually temperatures exceeding 30 degrees C (day and night), 90% humidity or so. I like "winters" better.

Unusual year in SW Indiana. Temps have been relatively mild. Yes, we have had a few days of 90+ with humidity of 90+%, but also have had lots of milder temps in lower 80s.

Lately have to dodge sporadic thunderstorms which can pop up at any time. Some days have left with sunshine for a 1hr ride only to race home ahead of a "frog strangler" thunderstorm.

Well its been ever wetter than usual this year for Scotland. Its about a 1 in 5 chance you get a nice sunny day at the moment, even then its not exactly scorching. Last year we had a heat wave tho so I guess were not allowed too much good weather....

We had a very cool wet spring and the summer is turning out cooler than normal. The 4th of July is usually very hot but this year I was riding in long sleeves. (evening)
