my bike is full sora aside from the sora/tiagra shifters. The drive train has less than 200 miles on it. My friend is building a recreational/fitness bike, and i was planning on eventually upgrading my groupset, and i mentioned this and he said he would buy the sora components off of me. Assuming i do it, which i may not, how much should i ask for everything....bb, brakes, shifters....the works. thanks

I don't know a lot about Sora, except my bike came with that stuff, but why not do a check on the different bike websites and see what they are selling it at, then discount it 50% for your buddy. For instance, I went to the nashbar website and typed in Sora in the search field. Check the link: http://www.nashbar.com/results.cfm to see the prices offered for sora.
