I'm not a collector of jerseys. I only buy ones that I use in different occasion. Short sleeve for warm weather, long sleeve for cold weather, light reflecting jersey(Illuminite) for night riding.
I see in the catalogs, there are many different kind of sleeveless jerseys. I'm wondering, is it any better in warm weather than short sleeve jersey? Is it cooler, less restrictive? Does it make sense to get one even you already have a short sleeve jersey?
I'd like to hear the opinions from those have used it for a while.

To the moderators: I had no idea which section to post this thread, so if you can think of other thread where this topic would get better response, please move it.

I use sleeveless jersey and sleeveless tri suits. I think they are great!

Sleeveless jerseys w/ 3/4 or full length zippers are all I wear during the summer months.

Possibly it might correct my complaints about the heat, if I were to try them more? Wore them , i own one, did not like them. Short sleeve jerseys are not restrective to me.... Sleeveless...So unused to exposed shoulders, when off the bike and wearing normal street clothes.. The shoulders really burn in spite of sunblock 30...
My solution for heat...Summer weight jerseys with the open side panels.

as long as they are not cut too low, i prefer them since i go sleeveless most of the time in the summer, and short-sleeve jersey tans are just not appealing.

Thanks for the advice, guys. I think I'll get one. And I'll make sure don't get sun burned, start slowly.

I like the short sleeve tan...Dr. commented last time I saw him..I thought it cool....My badge of courage.

I think they look dumb, and the tan line is even worse looking, in my humble opinion. I like my short-sleeve jersey, and the girls at my pool say it looks like I have a t-shirt on even with my shirt off! :) just friendly joking. they want my body.

i put sunscreen on my shoulders and dispense with shirts/jerseys entirely.

yay for half-naked men.

Yes sleeveless is very much cooler in hot weather , and here it can get very hot .

remember that bare skin With a good sunblock keeps cooler than just bare skin .( don´t forget your ears )
