Hey there,
I migrated recently from San Francisco to the Yotsuya/Shinjuku area for school with my bike — packed her up at the Bike Kitchen and put her on a plane.
But now, I'm looking for a bike shop or mechanic here in the Tokyo area who will be able to put my lugged steel frame, early '80s KHS mixte back together (possibly — I have my own tools and grease and know how to do this) and give her a good tuneup (a must).
All I've seen around here are mama-charis and the occasional Cannondale/Bianchi track bike, and I'm hesitant to lug my giant box to a shop that doesn't know how to work on older frames. Can anyone recommend a good place for me to go?
