So I have had these new Aquasphere goggles (SEAL?) and havent had any problems until the last week when the weather and water temp has gotten quite a bit colder. I do the old spit and wash routine to prevent fogging, but recently its not working.... and the fogging is bad enough I cant see much at all.

I do perspire a lot, and am unsure if that, or the heat difference between cod water and warm face is the problem? Should I try warming up the goggles first for a few minutes before wearing, or try some sort of other anti-fog compound?

Problem is, next TRI is this weekend, and I have to travel, so no more open water swim workouts....

ideas?

Do you give ' em a big, slobbery lick on the inside of the lens before you go in the water?
Cuts down on the vision a wee bit but stops them steaming up.

In nearly 40 years of swimming and coaching; I've never found a anti-fog product to work better than cleaning/ringsing with spit and leaving a few drops to a little bit of water in the googles to rinse the inside of the lenses.
