I have posted in this forum b4 asking about is it possible for 50 miles commute per day... now I am starting it. Today I have a total commute of 70 km. Not 50 miles but that is still very far. I carried lots of CD and a big lock plus half a meter of chain. Been gone to 7places for computer repairing , lunch and paying my bills. All my friend think I am insane. But after today commuting, I understand the joy of riding a bicycle : It is about staying away from a lazy and meaningless life. It is about not becoming the slave of petrol. It is about the freedom of going anywhere.
My bike is a very cheap and heavy SS China road bike. I decide to dump my mountain bike and I already bought another cheap road bike. I will convert it to SS when I have free time.
