This is going to sound stupid, but I thought I should ask it here where most people are swimming much longer distances than me.
When I swim I seem to "belch or burp" after about 30 minutes of swimming. It doesn't matter if I eat something before I leave to go swimming, or if I go to the pool with nothing in my stomach. I try to burp while my head is under water, so I don't scare off the other swimmers. :)
I was swimming a lot, and then had some injuries and was out of everything for a while. I am back to mile swims or more, but the feeling of needing to burp is driving me nuts for some reason.
IS this normal?
No, I am not swallowing the pool water.
