So this guy is selling a peugot bike, is it worth it? I can't tell what model it is as it looks to be stripped. Bike overall is in good condition. The seller recently got it lubed and changed the cables and chain.

Those pictures are not extraordinarily helpful for id purposes. It looks like the frame is tig welded but I can't tell from the small pictures. The Deore DX front derailleur is probably a non-original upgrade. From what I can see the frame looks to be slightly better than entry level.

Tire rub on rear chainstay and rear quick release is on the wrong side. Not sure how thorough that servicing was.

I would check the tire size (width) as there is not much clearance.

+1 FD is surely not original.

Looks like a good solid bike.

Saddle is, of course, a replacement. The presence of downtube shifters, and the absense of a kickstand or safety brake levers, indicate that it is not a bottom of the line bike.

Here's a link to the album.

The tires looked a little big, when i took off the front tire and put it back on, i had to squeeze the tires through the brakes for it to fit. Max psi on the tires were 75-90. 35 or 38 width i think? would it be worth it to replace the tires? Everything else seems to be in good condition.

You can't tell from the picture, but the rear brake cable is drilled through the top frame tube. I'm sure that's was not original, but is it ok?

If you are going to ride it, those tires need to be changed out. If the rims are 27 inch, pick up an inexpensive set of 27 -1 1/4 tires. If they are 700c rims, same thing except something around 25mm width.
