October 10th, starting in Mt Arlington, NJ. I've done it a couple times, and it's a very nice, moderately challenging 40+ mile ride, in one of the most scenic areas of NJ. Is anybody else doing it? http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=9227

Maybe. Do people ride it hard?
There are usually a bunch of guys who are racer types, who don't necessarily take it seriously, but get competitive towards the end. But there are also a bunch of rec riders who take it easy, as well.
