first question of my bikeform visit:
ive been trying to discover the make and model for a trek frame i inherited, but im confused with the internet's various portals of useless information... serial #O297233. what is it? a 950? it doesnt quite seem like one... the frame has been completely painted over so i cannot tell otherwise.

i cant wait to find out!

I'm yet another portal of useless info, but vintage-trek.com says the frame with that S/N is an '82 614 in 22" size.

The Vintage Trek site is perhaps the best vintage bicycle site on the internet. I use it just about every week, and not just for looking up Trek bikes either.
