Hi,

Just writing to introduce myself. My girlfriend and I have talked about getting bikes for the past couple of years to ride basically for fitness. We both dont like running and love biking. Yesterday we went to a local bike store and test rode some bikes and found that the hybrids fit what we want to do with it the best. We are looking to eventually ride long distances on country roads, bike paths, lime bike paths. We arent looking for a road bike for now, even though I would love to have one. Since these are our first bikes really, we arent looking to spend a fortune right now. We want something that will be decent for a couple of years so we can see if we are going to use them as much as we plan on and if we do then we can upgrade.

She just bought a Bianchi Torino yesterday and I have a Scott coming on on Thursday for me to test ride.
