Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Which one is better? Please tell me why its better and which has better parts, I'll appreciate it greatly, thanks.

my bike shop carries a diamond back response sport for 500.00 (is that a good deal?) and my other bike shop carries a specialized hardrock sport for 500 too, which one should i get??

I'm anti Trek...it's hard b/c 2010 looks like it's gonna be a pretty good hear for Trek. The Session is pretty exceptional...on paper. Never ridden one.

I'm still anti-Trek.

Go to http://www.bikepedia.com/ and you can do a side by side comparison of the two.

I chose the Hardrock Sport and got a 08' leftover from a LBS for $350.00 Good luck with whichever you choose. Here's a pic of mine:

Thanks to everyone, i appreciate it. Sadly, I've only heard bad stuff about bikes direct :( and i kind of want something new or newer, or at least in good condition. Thanks again to everyone! And for Aire, what a great bike, but my local bike shops sell the 09 for 500 and i don't think i'll find any 08s :(

same here....both BD and Randall Scott...i was ready to blow a true economic nightmare wad of cash on an all-mountain full-sus bike....i think i'll just take a deep breath and keep researching and riding my bone-jarring Trek(enstein) for another month or so....

A great deal won't come looking for you. I searched for an 08' and finally found one at shop that was 100 miles (one way) away. They are out there and if you cannot find one you should at least be able to find a dealer that will sell you an 09' for at least $50.00 dollars off the $500.00 price tag.

Go to the Specialized site and it will show you all the dealers within a given radius of your location and start making calls, That's how I found mine.:thumb:
