A tailor isn't very expensive, and it makes a big difference. Nice suit.

Yeah, gotta get some shoes and all that. This is my first suit and, from what I understand, it's a very nice one. I'll definitely get the suit tailored. It too nice not to. :)

My father used to say, on the matter of ties, "Never wear something they can hang you with."

Get the sleeves taken up for sure, and always keep the top button done but never the bottom!

Shoulders look OK, but think twice about the black shirt.

If this is for your funeral, just buy the jacket and have them leave the bottom half of the casket closed.

Here is my favorite suit. Don't be fooled by it's perfect sheen. It's not new.

I am too sexy for my suit, too sexy for my suit...

Looks nice, I personally agree with Thoreau though.

yes, and yes. It really is a good cut on you:)

when you go for the sleeves, make sure you wear a shirt that has sleeves the right length. With your arms at your sides the shirt sleeves should rest right around where the base of the thumb is (the bump that starts at the heel of your hand). Most guys wear shirt sleeves too short.

Then, have the tailor measure to shorten the jacket so you have about 1/2 an inch of shirt showing with your arms at your sides. I've had tailors fight me on this  but go watch a cary grant film or two and you'll see what I mean.

Then again, screw what me and Cary Grant say - this is the only opinion that really matters;)

dunno if it's the sleeping pill I took a few hours ago to allow me enough rest for a century tomorrow (which, given that it's well past midnight here, is having the opposite effect, obviously), but i find this image disturbingly sexy. as in stupidsexyflanders. or maybe its just that head antennae thing. idk.....

Looks good! :thumb: As pgoat mentioned, just look at Cary Grant for fashion ideas. Granted, he made his own style, but most of us aren't that awesome. BTW, I like that the lapels aren't too small. Seems a lot of new suits have tiny lapels with no character (but in the 70s they went overboard).

no motor?

+1, you'll see after you get the suit back from the tailor.
