Hey All -Reporting in on my ride. These days I am between projects and able to focus more on riding. So I woke up and had no clue where I was going to ride today. Then I remembered –The Sky loop. The Sky Loop was a ride I did last year, where I thought I needed CPR paddles. So I show up at the ride today a tad late (20 men – all waited for me…I was the token women.) Anyway I got my bike/me together and off we went. Ok so realized I forgot to add water bottles. Turned back, got my bottles and the ride leader and I and another fellow took a short cut. We were definitely the slowest people on the ride (14.5mph avg) so a shortcut was a good idea.

Anyway –I have been afraid of the Sky loop. I remember it has a ton of hills. So I am glad I was able to show up and ride today. Takes guts to go on the ride- and hope there’s someone my level to ride with as I am not so sure of the route. Anyhoo – I was glad to go on the ride…and be in ok shape to do it.

On another note – I have all these points from work so I ordered new stuff for the new house…I have a Park Tool Bike stand…so now what? Must learn some things to do to take care of bike… A garage, a hose, simple green, bike path nearby. How cool is that? Now all I need is a man…oops I digress. I am woman. I am enough.

Sue, I like your ride stories. To bad we live on opposite corner's of the country, I'd like to ride with you. It takes guts to ride with twenty guys, when you are the only gal. I don't think I'd ride with twenty women! Getting dropped by one (my wife) is bad enough. BTW, 14.5 mph average is plenty fast for me. In fact, you may drop me at that rate. Anyway, thanks for posting.

Thanks Ed! It may be a good idea or me to post again and not take my riding for granted. I need to keep riding - and hit the sky loop for training. So stay tuned for more Sky loop stories and other rides. Thanks for your comments.

I enjoy your stories as well. Seeing your pictures as you progress toward your goals, and hearing about your travels and rides is very interesting. It is almost like I know you personally. Keep up the good work.

I find it quite surprising that some roadie hasn't snapped you up already! Maybe they're all intimidated by your cycling prowess.

The fellas in Gerogia are definitely slipping and missing out.
