Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Handlebar mount for Magellan Roadmate

Hi,
Has anyone made a handlebar mount for the Magellan Roadmate? I was thinking of adapting a pair of brackets to hold the GPS with some foam padding to absorb any shocks. Just wondering if anyone has tried this.
Thanks,
Don

Incorporate straps of some kind, too. I use small elastic straps on either side of my Mio C320 (Mio recommends using some king of strap, even for their handlebar mounts to help minimize the risk of the unit popping out if you hit bumps). I've got a generic GPS/phone holder that can be positioned in portrait or landscape mode, so far, it's working very well.

You could also look into RAM mounts, they should have something that works.
