Yeah, I have. Saturday I was riding at Santos in the rain, when all the sudden the bike fell out from under me. I came smacking down against the limerock, landed hard on my elbow and wrist. Scraped the hell out of my forearm and bruised my ass bad. My derailler and rotor miraculously survived, but my brand new Shimano shoes BROKE. Seriously, how the hell do you break a pair of mountain bike shoes? The ratchet strap shattered at the mount. These things have maybe less than 20 rides on them, and I already need a new pair, after paying like 90+ dollars for them. I have no clue how the rear wheel came out, because last time I checked the quick release was tight. Very strange indeed. So recommend me a pair of new shoes that costs less than 150 bucks so I can ride again.
