Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

It all started late last winter, one morning it just become obvious to me that i had got to get back to my beloved sport. Months later, as I dusted off my road bike, I envisioned bikepacking around, no full kit, just me, a comfty bike and a stary night.
Today, I did my first Off/On road metric Century in more than 5 years. (Of course, I bonked on the last Kms :o)
My touring steed, all 90 dollars of it, the best of my parts bin and a full weekend of frame painting at home.

Hello Positron,
The Copper Canyon is a big place, it really depends on what kind of ride you want, Road, MTB, Tour?
From Basaseachic to Creel is a very nice road that could be done in a couple of days or a really long one, maybe your best bet will be if MTBing to ride around Basaseachi for a couple of days and the move by car to the Creel area and spend 3 or 4 days there. Its beautiful country.
Check my blog, I have several Garmin maps so you can get an idea.
