Foo - I felt so manly this morning

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I bike commute during the M-F workweek, and after big-ass greasy American breakfast this morning, I dropped off a bunch of clean clothes @ my office.
I hop on the elevator, and the doors hardly open. So, Superman-like, I pulled them open.
I sure as hell did NOT take an elevator down, though, I walked the four flights.
No sense in tempting bad juju.
Just one of many superb zombie apocalypse skills :thumb:

I am really looking forward to seeing Zombieland.
Thanks for the reminder...a nice Shaun of the Dead-esque flick

That also is a GREAT movie. I love the bit at the end where he's playing video games with his zombied-out buddy.
Halloween is my GF's fave holiday. She's all jacked to start decorating already; we even grew our own pumpkins this year.
Decorate a pumpkin like George Clinton, the king of funk, and name it the Great Funkin' :p

Hahaha. Our favorite dog boarding facility here is offering 'holiday colors' for dyeing your dog's fur as part of their grooming service... they don't have orange, though.

Once on a business trip I was moving some equipment in a freight elevator of a London hotel.
The doors kept opening up to brick walls. :twitchy:
I definitely didn't want to get back on an elevator after that!
ha - Almost had a set of old elevator doors chomp the arm off. Opened and shut on me as I was entering they would not back off and open - sensor in there must be faulty - I reported it. And while I know that could have been detrimental to the arm --- I was rather glad I did not have the bike wheel stuck in the door as I normally will push bike into elevator first ...
That happened to me once. Door opened about 10 inches. Buttons didn't work. I was in the elevator. I put my foot on one door, grabbed the other with both hands, and forced.
Something metal broke off and fell down the shaft.  Then the doors opened fully.
Later there was an "out of order" sign on the call button. :innocent:
I'm a fan of the philosophy that, "If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway."

I didn't feel manly this morning. Maybe I should have put on some Jovan Musk.

I hope you don't do that on dates.

What, is your tongue worn out? It looks pretty healthy in your avatar.

The body count in the crawlspace under my house is quite impressive. :p
