The Energizer 2500mah AA batteries in particular were really bad. I had four that would self-discharge in around 48 hours. There were tons of these sold. Utter garbage.

This is Lithium Polymer which seems to be a different technology. I am not seeing bad reviews in the few available on the net. The stated capacity is very large for $99.

its not really a fault of the technology since other companies such as Sanyo do really well with NiMH where energizer does bad. Its more how energzier implemented it, their super fast to drain batteries or their too fast and too hot chargers, I certainly wouldn't trust them to properly charge a lipo
