I'm about the swap out my Ultegra FD for a DA. I see there's a screw at the end of the chain guide. Is it possible to swap the FD without breaking the chain by opening this screw?

I often thought about doing that but alas....I always break the chain and do it the RIGHT way instead. I always fear tweaking the cage by spreading it open. Hell, maybe that is the right way.
