Mountain Biking - Does anyone still make 1" steerer tube/threadless Shocks???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Has anyone seen any front shocks that are still available in 1" steerer tubes? That is the only downfall of my Bontrager. Otherwise I love it.

You can get Marzocchi forks in 1" threadless. You may have to special order, but I've heard you can get just about any model in the 1" - maybe not the triple clamp, but you wouldn't want to put one of those on a Bont. anyway.

Marzocchi forks are the best all around forks for a tough minimal maint. fork IMO.

Yet another reason to choose Marzocchi over the competition. Yes, AFAIK you can still order new Marzocchis in 1" threadless and if not you should be able to get 1" crown/steerer tube assemblies for 2000 and earlier years so you can retrofit it to a used fork that you find. Replacement parts from Marzocchi are expensive, however.

BTW BontragerMYnIaK, what are the commonly used forks in Germany? I would have thought Marzocchis would dominate the market since they are Italian.
