Someone posted a picture of a Spanish fan giving Lance the bird on one of the climbs. I've been trying to find it. Can someone help. Thanks.

I'm sure he's grimacing, but it almost looks like Basso is laughing. Ha!

I'm surprised that we haven't seen more streakers "waving their private parts in his general direction..."

Unfortunately for some, this kind of gestures only spurs the guy on, a real proof of his mettle. Lance is a his best when pissed and challenged, ha!!!

And Americans are looked down on because of their antics--IE the cutters--and a Basque fan does this. How nice.

Nothing like giving a rider some unintentional motivation.

Just goes to show, there are idiots in every country! But, I bet the US could give anyone a run for their money in idiots-per-capita ;)

That's Basque sign language for "Good luck, Lance."

Either that, or someone yelled, "Hold up one finger for every year of your emotional age."

Ha - that's funny. Fans are fans, no matter where you are.

The basques are great cycling fans - they turn out in the tens of thousands. There are hardly any other places in the world where one could see so much support for the sport. Anyways 1 or 20 individuals among soo many cant generalize for the rest of the people.

Actually, I think people are quite respectful, in some places im sure Lance would have at least been on the receaving end of some rocks, baterries, eggs and why not maybe even pulled down of his bike. So all in all Basques are great cycling fans.

Gee, maybe he is saying: "Look, Lance. Only 2 more kilometers to go!"

P.S. I wonder what sign language that fan is giving Mayo now that Iban is on vacation.

It would have been funny as hell if LA would have jumped off the bike and thrown a beatin' on the guy.. then jumped back on the bike!!!

Seems to me that Lance is flipping the bird right back after three stage wins in four days.
