We have been lamenting the lack of Tandems that we’ve seen this summer on the century rides we've done, particularly so because those rides were very popular and the courses had been extremely Tandem friendly.
Then this past weekend we went up to the Mammoth Mountain area for the High Sierra Fall Century Ride http://www.fallcentury.org/. With its remote location and a route that was not as tandem friendly as some, we fully expecting to be the lone Team there ….well, we could not have been more wrong…. there were tandems everywhere we turned , more then we’ve seen in months including a couple great looking Santana’s, CoMo’s, other C’dales, even a rare Seven. All in all very cool…. not to mention a spectacular high country ride I would recommend to all.
