I've inherited this bike frame from a friend and I have no idea what it is. The colour scheme suggests a Bianchi in marco Pantani colours which places it 98 and onwards. looking at the Bianchi back catalogue this doesn't match their style in any way. So am I just looking at far eastern frame done up in Bianchi colours?

that is aluminum right? what is the profile of the DT? I am missing a '97 catalog and 2000 catalog but I do not see an AL. bike with a huge DT like that. you live in the states? Bianchi USA bikes are different from the rest of the world.
