I was trying to figure out my fork's pre-load/sag and started by turning the pre-load adjuster all the way in one direction. I'm guessing the adjuster is a little stiff to turn because it's a coil spring and after a while of turning it begins to pain the fingers so I used a wrench to turn the adjuster. It turned much more easily this way, however it may have been too easy because I turned it to a point where I heard what sounded like a creak/crack. Is there a way to find out if something broke?
