Does anyone know anything about GT bikes? How do they compare to Trek, GAry Fisher, or Giant? I looked at the site and was not really impressed, but that was just a picture.

Any info would be help. I am primarily concerned with their hybrid

GT was purchased along with Schwinn a couple of years ago by Pacific the same company that supplies Wal-Mart. They made excellent bikes before then but now I wouldn't give either brand a second look especially due to the fact that there was a problem with Pacific honoring the warranties of the the Pre-buyout owners, and I also dislike how thier dealers were treated at that time. I'd buy any other brand before Schwinn and GT
