Mountain Biking - Two different tube valves on new bike?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
never mind - both presta - there's an extension on one looks like a schrader - maybe just for filling em up....duh

Keeping a Schrader adapter on one wheel gives you options should you ever need to fill up at, say, a non-biking friend's house, or at a gas station. I keep such an adapter on all my presta-equipped bikes for just that reason. The weight of the adapter is minimal. It's convenient to have.
I keep a brass one in my pack.

Yup, brass one, and I manage losing one from time to time.
