Hi, I have a Ford Falcon EL sedan and I was wondering what I would need for roof racks on it, and which ones would be good recommendations?
Thanks :)

Thule is a good brand, not sure of the exact part #s you will need to fit Falcon EL - you may have to go to a shop and ask because Thule website isn't very helpful.
Rhino and Rola are other good brands (Thule is arguably better).
Generally you get the two crossbars (there are different ones, aero and square are the main ones - it's just aesthetics and $, functionality is the same) with the appropriate "feet" to suit the roof of your car and then you get the actual rack bit that your bike goes on. My personal preference is for the one where you leave the wheels on the bike and just strap it to the rack or there is a (slightly cheaper) alternative where you take the front wheel off and there is a special axle type attachment that you bolt your front forks to and you store your bike wheel in the car. Not very practical if you have say filthy dirty MTB wheels. Most roof racks suit MTB and road bikes (and hybrids - may have to check with manufacturer/retailer regarding BMX).
Torpedo7 (http://www.torpedo7.com.au/products/T7CAON9BB/title/TORPEDO7-Roof-Mounted-Bike-Carrier) stock a cheap version of the fork mount rack, not sure how compatible it is with other brands of crossbars though.

Remember that you have a bike on the roof when you try to park your car in the garage or underground car park! I know several people that made this mistake and it wrecked the bike and caused several thousand dollars damage to the car. The bike ISN'T covered under your car insurance either.
