I can probably give you 19.5 to 20 over the 112. It's flat there.

Hi Guys, I should do the 2.4 mile swim in just under an hour. My GF can do a 3:20 marathon. This race is two weeks after MCM so she'll take it easy and can be expected to do a 3:40.

Based on last years results we would need a cyclist to do 25mph for first place. There was a fast team there. However for second place we would only need 20mph. So we're flexible and looking to have fun 19-20+ would be great.

I can guarantee I cannot do 25mph for 112 miles. For 25-50, I can hold 22, have never raced 112 before, but I'm game for anything. Find the best rider you can. The TriCredibles and ECVelo in Greenville and Rocky Mount Endurance Group probably have faster riders. I'm 50, so go figure.

I dont want to turn this into a pissing contest. I plan to do a century this weekend on the tri bike, I need to do it in sub 5 because i have something planned right after that, how quickly under 5 is another question. My last olympic (sept 13) completed the 40K in 59:43 which included a crash becuase of gravel in a turn and a stop to readjust the rear derailuer.

I do train with power and my current FTP is 295. My tri season is pretty much over, had one other race but cancelled because of healing scabs from the accident on my arm and dont want to swim with them.

I also do almost all of my training in the blue ridge mountains of VA about an hour or so from my house outside of dc.

I clearly stated the best I can do, and I'm sure you can do better. I just did 28m in 1:09, no spills, but I know I can't hold that pace for 112m.

You're a lot better rider than I am, and I think you'd be great. Go for it, and enjoy the ride. I think the only hills on the route are bridges. You should be able to have a great ride, and enjoy the beach. A breezy, flat workout would be great for me, but I'm definitely not fast enough to compliment that team.

I'll go back to C&V where I belong, and let the egos go have the fun.

Thanks guys, you both sound exactly what we're looking for! Just to be comepetitive. It doesn't matter if we, we'll just try our best. If you'd like to do it, the relay fee is $450. We would divide it 3 ways. If you're in, then PM me and let's do it!
