...is a lot like the old commute. ;)

Got a new job, started monday.

I rode home last night (easing in after a month off and not wanting to appear TOO strange in the new work environment) and my first impression is the commute isn't dramatically different than the old one.
Tucson's still pretty flat & hot, the wind still blows east in the afternoons, and there are still bike lanes on most of the roads. It's still about 10 miles each way.

Major difference is that instead of a MUP for 7 miles of it, I only go the MUP for 3, and the rest is through a quasi-industrial area (commute is from Wilmot/Golf Links to the airport, for any curious Tucson folk). I don't go by my favorite LBS anymore either, kind of a bummer.

Anyway, must get to work. Later

LBS on the way home has served me well. Bum deal. Everything else sounds great. Congrats on the new job.
