That's actually a good deal - if I didn't like the Supremes so much, I'd jump on a few....

I'm debating to get another set, but I have a brand new pair I got for Christmas last year, but the tires don't need to be changed yet.

It's a one day special.

It's a one day special.

The special may be one day, but the tires will last forever. I commute on marathon plus's, and they wear like iron. The rear tire on my main commuter has over 6000 miles on it, and not a single flat. I don't remember what I paid for that tire, but whatever it was, it was a bargain.

+1 W/over 12,000 combined miles on 3 sets of SMPs(1 28mm and 2 25mm) and a TOTAL of 3 flats...2 of them pinch flats on the 25mm and one 2" self-starting screw that nothing short of airless would've stopped. To my mind they have proven themselves to be the best flat resistant pneumatic bicycle tire in the market. If there's a problem it would be w/frames made w/close tolerances. The 25mm are much larger than standard and WILL rub or not clear the underside of the fork crown. While the rolling resistance is often decried it's not THAT bad compared to the peace of mind and confidence one has when cycling to and from work. With respect to other makes and brands they're the only tire I'll ever purchase again for any of my bikes...I've got 7. Whenever I'm looking to purchase a new bike I automatically add 75-100.00US to the price as I'll swap the tires out immediately. :p
