off to ashland va tomorrow afternoon to virginia bikefest.I plan to ride my first century in 25 years saturday maybe I will finish before dark.

Have fun! I did the ride last year (have a conflict this year.) It's fairly flat so I ended up with a pretty fast time. There's lots of opportunity for paceline riding if you like that kind of thing (I don't so much.)

Also if I recall the course actually came out to something like 98.5 miles, so if you're anal like me you'll need to be prepared to tack on a little extra riding to make it an "official" century :)

I ride alone plus I am riding fixed but flat is good.Its 1.12 miles from the motel to the ymca so I guess I will be good lol

ok I was worried about the mileage so I decided to miss a turn,get lost and add about 10 mi and 1 hr to the ride. I finished in 8.5 hrs I am happy with that.I was a little over geared at 75 inches think I need to drop down to about 65.
I rode the 33 mi historic ride this morning that was alot of fun.
