hi i have 48v 1000watt kit on my bike i recently tried an extra battery giving me 60v. all went fine but i am conserned that i might damage motor or controller. my motor is large black and says 48v 1000watts on side but no make although it looks like a golden motor. i took of the rear of my controller and inside their are blue barrel objects that have 63v wrote on them. can i assume then that my controller will handle 60v? regards rob.

Although your kit was probably sold as a 48V kit, most of the controllers included with kits are cabable of handling an additional 12V of power. But keep in mind, it will get much hotter and may not last as long...
