ANNUAL 50+ PIE RIDE, 5TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF 50+ FORUM TOMORROW!! DON'T FORGET
15 mile ride, pie (preferred blueberry if possible) during the ride - best at a cafe' - if you have one.
Tradition started at Irma's Cafe in WI by a couple of 50+ riders who would report on their delicious "pie rides" to the forum. We all got jealous, and the tradition started.
RIDE REPORTS AND PICTURES, PLEASE!!

I'm PSYCHED! In fact, I'm going to put on my workout DVD and get my weights now so that I won't feel guilty eating a giant piece of pie tomorrow.
Cool! I can plan a 15 mile route that passes House of Pies (http://www.houseofpies.com/)!
If I can find rhubarb will that be acceptable?

I have to go into work on Saturday, but that just happens to be a 20 mile RT ride. All I have to do is figure out where to stop for pie!

We have a 30 mile club ride in the Monterey, CA area tomorrow. We'll have Olallieberry pie and ice cream tonight (already in the house!) and some pie-like treat tomorrow on the ride. Pictures to follow I hope.

My blueberry pie has 10 minutes left in oven. Planning a 50 mile round trip into Phily for a cheesesteak. Hmmmm cheesesteak and blueberry pie. It's heaven.
ACK! I completely forgot. We need to ride early in the morning tomorrow due to other plans at 11:00. I don't know if we'll find pie being offered before 9:00.... we might need to be creative. Oh, I know... the local bagel place sells a breakfast thingie with a blueberry center --- will that count???

I've tried.
Ain't no place in this town that sells pie by the slice but Denny's and THAT'S usually apple.
To say apple isn't even on my list is putting it mildly.

I'm doing an organized century ride in MD's amish country today. No pie for me, unless it consists of road apples...
Does a blueberry Clif bar count?
