What's the narrowest winter tire out there?
Looking to get some good tires for winter commuting, however, my bicycle came with 14mm rims. It fits 700x28s, but its a tight fit and they bulge out a bit.
I see Nokian A10 makes 700x32 tires, I could probably fit those.
Any other 700x32 tires, or 700x28 tires?

I'm going to assume you meant 14mm?
That indicates some kind of racer? How wide a tire can you fit in the forks?

Its just a Specialized Sirrus hybrid. The forks can easily accept wider. I have quite a bit of room to spare.
And yeah, I totally meant 14mm.
The markings on the rims are 622x14, which I assume means 14mm wide.

That is a pretty narrow rim for all round riding, from what I read, links included, a 32mm tire is a stretch.
A couple of good locations for tire sizing:

The wider the rim the more tire tread on the ground, good for winter applications. I picked a 29mm rim, sun rhyno lites for winter tires, I use 17-24mm rims most everything else.

I had 35mm studded tires on my Specialized Sirrus last winter. I can't remember if the rims are 14mm or 16mm though. They are the Alex Wheels that come on the cheapest model. I remember that according to Sheldon's chart, it was just a little outside the recommended tire/rim size zone. Never had any issues.
