Could difference in altitude account for the .02 Maybe the bike was legal before they took into the alps?
ummmm yep, grade 11 Physics.. you weigh yourself at ground level, go to the highest floor in the school and weigh yourself again, and if your scale is keen enough, you can see a difference.
Maybe they weighed the bike at sea level?
As far as the win goes, if Lance was 1 second off the record, do you think he eased up? once he knew he had crushed Jan et al?
