From a discussion I've been having.
I like peppers on my pizza. To the point I occassionally eat pizza with just jalepenos on it.
I'm sure some, if not many find that odd. Anyway, what's the strangest thing you like as a pizza topping?

 that is the strangest pizza topping i've heard of so far....
Not sure any of my fave's would really count as strange, but:
-anchovies. Lots of them. And then a few more.
-ham and pineapple.
-taco pizza. I miss the taco pizza's at Casey's (is that right?) convenience stores in Iowa. Mmm.

The weirdest one I order from the local pizzeria is a shrimp and pesto pizza.
"Pepperonis, Ground Beef, Green Peppers, Mushrooms, and Onions", PERIOD! Anything else is just plain wrong (http://www.jhuger.com/kisshank.php)!
Me: "But...oh, never mind. What's the deal with wieners?"
Mary: She blushes.
John: "Wieners, in buns, no condiments. It's Hank's way. Anything else is wrong."
Me: "What if I don't have a bun?"
John: "No bun, no wiener. A wiener without a bun is wrong."
Me: "No relish? No Mustard?"
Mary: She looks positively stricken.
John: He's shouting. "There's no need for such language! Condiments of any kind are wrong!"
Me: "So a big pile of sauerkraut with some wieners chopped up in it would be out of the question?"
Mary: Sticks her fingers in her ears."I am not listening to this. La la la, la la, la la la."
John: "That's disgusting. Only some sort of evil deviant would eat that..."
Me: "It's good! I eat it all the time."
Mary: She faints.
John: He catches Mary. "Well, if I'd known you were one of those I wouldn't have wasted my time. When Hank kicks the **** out of you I'll be there, counting my money and laughing. I'll kiss Hank's ass for you, you bunless cut-wienered kraut-eater."
With this, John dragged Mary to their waiting car, and sped off.

You started it with that ham and pineapple crazy talk.
Pepperoni, sausage, mushroom - mandatory
peppers, onions, black olives and extra cheese - optional
ham, bacon and ground beef - if I have to
pineapple and anchovies - there's going to be one heck of an argument
and you just know I am going to add the dried red pepper flakes.
sea food pizza...
pretty bad tasting IMO.

I would eat conch pizza long before I would eat ham and pineapple... the conch is much like squid in texture and taste... unless you eat it raw.

My sister has seen some interesting stuff on "pizza" in China. I'll refrain from saying what it was exactly. All I can say is that it was really, really gross.

Broccoli, feta cheese and sun-dried tomatoes.
I don't understand why one would put tomatoes on a pizza.
it makes the pizza really soggy and hard to eat without fork and knife.

I totally put red pepper flakes on all my pizza. The kids love Hawaiian (Canadian bacon + pineapple). It's not so bad (w/ red pepper flakes).

Corn and shrimp...Japanese style.
In Israel, I had a vegie pizza (good olives, peppers, onions) with an egg in the middle. They just crack a raw egg in the middle of the pizza so once its cooked it is like a sunny side up egg. It is really good!

I always request or make pizza with fresh raw tomatoes on top... my favourite pizza is Greek where the crust, sauce, and cheese are baked but the feta, black olives, onions, and tomatoes are added when it comes out of the oven.

Try having the place put them on after the pizza is cooked. Tons better that way.
Also Salami. I love this stuff on pizza thin slices.
it's patently obvious that the vast majority of you have no clue as to what pizza truly is.

There is pizza and then there is PIZZA... the Italians here make some of the best traditional pizza I have ever eaten... and the Sicilians make a fine version of their own which you can't complain about lest you offend them.
And making a good pizza isn't rocket science... it is really very simple fare.
How so many places screw it up is a mystery.
I live in such a nice location with the Arabs and Polish communities to the north of me and the Italians and Asian communities to the south.
The local food in incredible in it's diversity and flavour.
