Commuting - Too much of a good thing?

I think all of us here can agree riding is a good thing, right? But I was wondering how much is too much? I've been commuting 25+ miles a day 5 days a week, but on my days off i cycle too, anywhere from a few miles here and there running errands to a solid 50mi joyride. I know its good to take some time off to let your body recuperate (or so i have heard), but how much rest and how often? I really don't want to overdo it and injure myself. Any help is greatly appreciated!

I finished a cross country tour NY to LA with a group.
11 riders rode everyday everymile for 58 days. No Rest Days.

It depends on what you're doing the rest of the time. My job is fairly physical, so by Friday hometime, the ride home can be pretty slow. I still usually go about 8-10km for coffee on Saturday though.

Enjoy what you do, and take good care of yourself so you can do what you enjoy.
I ride 120 miles/week, to-and-from school. The rest of the time I'm studying, eating, sleeping, or studying.
