Hey how's it going ladys and gents. I've been riding for a pretty long time, riding mostly on a mountain bike. I recently switched my tires to the specialized armadillo tires and i've fallen in love with them. I've been biking for a couple years now, went from 280->235 and my goal is getting under 200 by next year may =] Now, i'm looking to transition into purchasing a road bike but i'm basically torn between two models. I'm not looking to spend thousands in a road bike cause I usually bike for recreational use. But the bikes that I'm interested in is the Cannon 09' Cannondale CAAD9 7 Triple and the Specialized Secteur Sport Triple. I just don't know which one to go for, and I don't want to spend 800 something dollars and regret not getting the other one later. I need some input on these bikes or other bikes that you guys would recommend. Thanks in advance everyone!

You'll get some good replies from many on here. The basic jist will be to ride both and choose the one you like best from both your heart and seat of the pants. Many folks on here are fond of Jamis, great values, decent components, and won't break the bank. They may just have something that floats your boat. Simple answer; test ride as many as you can in your price range. Get the one that speaks to you.
