i borrowed a hacksaw from my friendly neighbor and decided to cut my handlebar. it was it was 22inch which is 55cm~ and i made them 16inch = 40cm. Do you guys its too short? My dad does. :/

Are your shoulders wider than 40cm? For me that would be a little short.

are you measuring edge to edge? If you are it's actually a 38cm.

what the **** kind of question is this? if YOU think theyre fine, then theyre fine. What, are they gonna be too short to be legal? (38 states require 41cm bars).

I like your enthusiasm redline. And I was just asking for you guy's opinions. And my shoulder is exactly 40cm, i made it match my shoulder width. I will post a picture soon.

this is BFSSFG, personal opinion doesn't matter here. it's the mass opinion that does.

don't kill me... but that looks pretty cool. I'd never run a plain oury riser stuffed in the stem but its great for ****s and giggles.
@squeegeesunny in anycase, your handlebars are good man. Don't sweat it. If you feel that they are too narrow just buy a different set of cheap risers and put em on.

I cut my bars to the width of the stem clamp area. That bike sucks.

QTF everyone has to develop their own style. Do what you do and the way you like it, that's what truly makes things cool.

^^^ agreed. also my bars are about 10cm shorter than yours. they're freaking little. but i like the way i can squeeze through cars and they still handle great and comfy.
Your bars look fine, but when it comes to a matter of personal opinion - do you really want to take it here from BF? You never know who could be yanking your..... chain...... on the internet!
Like others have said, if you like it stick with it. If not, get rid of it.
There will always be naysayers.
