Cyclocross - Terry Valkyrie

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Has anyone purchased a Terry Valkyrie cross bike? If so, do like it?

Wow, that is A LOT of money for not much bike, but that's what I find with all Terry bikes. Clever marketing to women. You can get way more bicycle for much less money from other manufacturers. Also, unless you are really small the 26" wheels are a severe disadvantage on a cross bike, larger wheels ride smoother and you'll have a much larger selection of tires available.

There's a women's only cross sub-forum at Team Estrogen - you should be able to get good fitting advice there.
I'd agree that crossers need 700c if at all possible - my MTB manages fine at 26, but it isn't limited to a 35mm wide tyre. This makes a big difference.
