I was saving for a Surly Crosscheck, but this popped up today (http://orlando.craigslist.org/bik/1382483164.html).
Not crazy about the awful colors and 27 inch wheels, but seems pretty nice for a vintage tourer.
Asking price is $300.
Thoughts?

Anyway, it seems like an 89 with Tenax tubing. Not speaking as a tourist here but the bike is a tourer in the purist sense; the wheels, the brakes, stays.. no touring aspect was over looked .. I don' know .. unless you're not over 6.1 ... I can see no down side. It's not just a late '80s Schwinn.
+1 Yes, if you are looking for a touring bike, this one looks like the real deal. Appears to be in outstanding condition!

If you don't want it buy it and send it to me. It looks like my size.
Looks to be the real deal.
There's not a thing wrong with 27" wheels.
That paint on the other hand is nothing a good powder coater couldn't fix.

Ronsonic: I think I'm gonna pass but it's over in Orlando. Go for it!
