I am looking at either a Fuji Aloha 1.0 with Shimano 105 or a Trek Equinox with SRAM Rival Components. Sugestions anyone?

The Trek is more aero, a newer design, as well the SRAM Rival components are nearly equivalent to Ultegra so you're getting a better groupset. Assuming they are at a similar pricepoint, the Trek is the way to go...

I'd go Trek as well. I think it's the best aluminum tri bike out there right now.

Both bikes list for about $1700.00. Of course that could change with sales, specials offered by bike shops, etc.

Appreciate your input. I would like to go carbon, but the price jumps around $1000.00 instantly.

you might also consider the cervelo P1-aluminum, all ultegra, and about 1700

Honestly, the P1 is good, probably as good as the Trek. I think most people would put those bikes beyond the Fuji.

However, I may also suggest the Quintana Roo Seduza, carbon, $2000 even MSRP. All 3 sports is in Atlanta and would probably move on the price.

I will look into that. Didn't think I could touch a cervelo for that price. Thanks

I like QR a lot. I ride one. It's been great and geometry is the same on every model also.
Cervelos are pretty sick bikes also. They were my second choice.

ride a couple and see which brand fits better. that should effect your decision.

I just got a Aloha FUJI barely used for $700 and I was in the same boat as you. I will let you know how it rides. But check out FUJIs right now you can get a good deal on some of the 09s left over right now. Also check EBAY never know you might find a very slighty used one and save some major cash.
