Fifty Plus (50+) - I have been "lurking" here for quite some time ...

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
And have posted from time to time.
But not often.
Some of you may have "seen" me on other forums, under the name Toomanybikes. I had that name here once upon a time as well.
TMB.
I will be 50 in about 6 months, so I guess I will be "allowed" to be here then.
I live in the Okanagan Valley in BC, and spend time in the Valley of the Sun in AZ, as often as possible.
I find myself checking in here more often, the only place in BF where I feel even remotely welcome, and I thank you for that.
I thought I should introduce myself, sort of, and now I will go back to lurking ( sort of) while I wait out the 6 months before my 50th birthday.
Welcome! So, how many bikes DO you have?

waytoomanybikes?... We'll be the judge of that! Image posting is a valuable skill in these parts. A proper introduction will include pictures of your bikes, ride photo's and something that you ate.

In insurance, we always used the nearest birthday.
Welcome!!
Just don't change your name to
waywaytoomanybikes!!
Welcome, lurker...no, that does not sound good. Just plain welcome, or glad you are here, keep on riding and enjoying the ride... ....and keep on enjoying this grand place to share and learn.
Welcome! So, how many bikes DO you have?
Currently, 12.
I have been steadily reducing the number and have dropped by about 50% in the last year.
Sadly, I have another "idea" in mind which may require another trip to the framebuilder!
It's an addiction!

That was not the intent actually.
I wasn't sure whether all the bike pics were in picasa where I could link them, then I got distracted ..........
Actually, a number of my bikes are in this thread .........

He's a very active lurker. This was his 17th post to 50+ in September!
Certainly welcome to post as often as you would like.

True that.
However, a grand total of 19 posts in the 3 years I've been lurking, so ...............

Your screenname is all wrong. I suggest you change it to Needmorebikes.

Really, Miss Kenton, that has got to be the worst come-on line I've ever heard!

I must say, it took me quite some time to interpret that commentt. Good Heavens, Man, it was not a question; "Have a colonoscopy?" Like: "Care for a crumpet?" It is not with my thought processes to believe I might beguile a man by offering to perform a medical procedure on him. Well, at least not that medical procedure. Moreover, although TheMister is an easygoing sort, I can't for the life of me imagine him ever being content with me adding that to my repertoire of how to win friends and influence people.
It was merely a statement; "Have a colonscopy." I was suggesting that he might want to have all senior tests completed before he joins the aged here, thus providing himself with fodder for conversation when the inevitable thread regarding colonoscopies appears again!

I said, well, you better bring her in so I can see for myelf if it would be a fair trade.
