Introductions - Greetings

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi everyone I just started riding for the first time since I was a teenager I am now 66 and riding a Trek 7500. The Forums is a great place for information.
Nice bike there my friend - and welcome back to the world of bicycling - where ya been? hehe
We have a lot to offer here - if you haven't already prowled around - there's a 55+ forum, funky forum called Foo, and even some regional forums so perhaps you can hook up with someone from your area to ride with. Oh and since you're just getting back into it - do check out via google or asking your bike shops in the area about any bicycle action in the area - the clubs that I'm in have organized rides for people through out the riding months - and rides that are arranged for people range from beginners to medium (we call them Sweep rides here - as the ride captain rides at the back - no rider left behind) to the regular bike rides where you basically say Hi to the other guy and he takes off. :D Unless you keep up that is.
Enjoy being back on two wheels!!!!

Welcome to Bike Forums. Check out the Fifty Plus forum, there are quite a few riders in your age group in there.
