American Spirit, 2 speed Bendix w/ hand shifter, sprung iron seat, cantilever front brake, painted fenders, Original and complete except for the pedals. ser# 16083 Anyone want to venture a guess as to what I found ?

The bike's worth alot of money to the right person. BobHufford is dead-on . I had a '66, different name. It had the 2-speed, both tough to pedal, it was good for paper delivery though. Having 2-speeds caught my attention to your post.

It's a 55, F14, 26" Manufactured Sept,14th, 1954. I have gotten some interest in that front brake, rather rare I gather.
