Cyclocross - Is this used bike a sign I should CX?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I tend to have too many bikes in the stable (who doesnt?), but witness my first CX race, and was impressed with how awesome it looked. Immediately Im scouring ebay, looking at bikesdirect (Yea, Im that guy always looking for a better deal), and happen across this craigslist post.
Im a little concerned with fit, as Im 6'3" and road bike with a 60cm virtual TT... I understand cyclocross you are more upright, and am thinking a 58cm shouldnt be too difficult to adjust if needed. However, Im not sure on the wheelset/fork/brakeset, as Im a roadie....
although the girlfriend will kill me over yet another bike..... is this thing my ticket into CX or what?

You went to starcrossed too, huh? I found an almost new '07 Tricross Sport on seattle's craigslist the week before for dirt cheap, at no point in time did I think I wanted to do cx. Then my GF took me to starcrossed (she races on one of the teams, can't remember which now) and it looked completely awesome. Did you go last night at Marymoor?

medium - 54.5'' top tube
I didn't find it in the bikes section though, found it in the garage sale section.
Starting a couple weeks ago, there's cx every wednesday night at 6:30 at marymoor. It was my first ever time doing it, there was a beginner class, I basically spent two hours jumping on and off my bike and attempting to learn how to clip in and out of my pedals. I'm sore all over today, but it was a good time. I've probably been on a bike roughly a dozen times in the last 15 years save for the last week, so I'm an absolute rank beginner.

Looks like the CL post is deleted. Did you get the bike? I know body types are totally different but FWIW I am 6'3" and ride a 58TT. I think you will be ok in that size.
