too bad the cake at work didn't come with a new bike. cheap bastards. :) best present ever this year: have a buyer for my house, which means this spring I am free to take off on my Sherpa and disappear for a year or two. Closing Oct. 7th. Fingers crossed that the buyer's loan doesn't fall through.

Ha! In same position here, sort of. I did not own a home in FL before I left, but my wife did. She was renting it out, but had trouble with the renters. She put it on the market last month and had a buyer in 2 days. They want to close by October something or other too. Also hoping their loan and all goes through.
