I'm in Fort Polk. (SouthWest Louisiana) I was wondering about roads.
I've noted around here going north on 171 towards Leesville the roads get pretty bad. The roads themselves are reasonably paved but on the shoulder there is a bunch of debris, bits of wood, nails, and sticks. The traffic volume on the road is too high to really allow for much non-shoulder riding.
I was wondering how roads were in other parts of the area.
