Hey guys i need some help in learning street, just looking for techiniques and the right way to do things, i've got bunnyhops great, so I don't need help with that, but anything else you masters have hidden up your sleeves, let me know.

Start with basic bunny hop...then practice hops on and off things...the reason why...to simply DROP gives you no real control over the bike. To lift the bike off of a drop gives you the control you need off of drops and jumps to play with tricks.

Manuals and good controlled wheelies.

1 handers and 1 footers off things woudl probably be next. Try them doing wheelies and stuff...then maybe off of drops and stuff....

Oh yeah practice. With a bunny hop and manuals and some basic moves, start linking them...then play with wall rides and then fufanus and abubacas...but it is all progression...gotta get that balance first :)

Ya thats what im working on, ive been practicing wall rides today, and i have no idea what fufanus and abubacas are...as for my bunnyhop it's real good for only riding a couple days on my bike...it was 16" last count

16" is good for a few days. Better yet thats aweomse. If you are really interested in being good a street...get a cheap bmx...the moves are more fluid, bigger and generally more "stylie"...then move to a mtbx :)

Nah i'll just stick with the bike I have, better to get used to this bike then to get used to another bike and have to switch over

Not saying to dump one. Either way...street is about playing and practicing. Just screw around and have fun. Copy your friends and start looking at things differently. If you see something you think is rideable. Try it. If you think of a trick to try...try it. Street is fun ;)

just out of curiosity, whats the difference between an abubaca and a fufanu?

Get some videos and see what the progressive street riders are doing.

Then go outside, get on your bike, and figure out how to emulate them. Be prepared to spend a lot of time practicing and an equal amount of time in pain.

If you can stick it out, it will be worth it.

part of being a good street rider is being creative,and seeing stuff that other people doesnt,thats my opinion
